Star Search Sampler 12-Block
12 star blocks in this unusual offset arrangement--some are more obvious than others. There are many ways to color each of the blocks and value positioning in each of the blocks makes a lot of difference in the final appearance of each one.
It's easy to kit this quilt with three different fabrics (1 each of Light, Medium, and Dark) for a Block-of-the-Month year-long class or club. You can also use the blocks for your Saturday Sampler program*. The program CD includes kitting directions for quilt yardage and finishing kits as well as for scraps and fat quarters. Printing Masters for each of the blocks makes it easy to print what you need when you need it for class participants. All 12 blocks finish to 12" square in this 84 1/2" square quilt.
